Local Dance Events 

Every Tuesday night:  Music and dancing from 7-10 at the Loft for $3 cover.  FREE Lessons are from 7:30-8:15.  See the 'Dance Lessons' link for more information.

Aug 23: 4th Cannon Ball Blast BBC Dance!!!    Workshop from 6:30 - 7:30 with GNDC Champions, Gene & Nancy Pope!  $10 pp.  Dance from 7:30 - 11:30.  Come dance with your BBC friends at the Eagles Lodge in Stafford.  $8 for members, $10 for non-members.  Food is provided.  BYOB although cash bar for beer & setups.  For more info, see  flyer.

July 25-27:  13th Annual Capital Shag Classic. Hosted by: The Northern Virginia Shag Club. Cost: $75 pp til 7/1, then $85.  This year's theme is "Back to the Beach". Price includes serveral meals during the weekends, pool party, free pours, three FREE shag lessons with PROs Joey & Jennifer Sogluizzo and many hours of dancing  with Guest DJ: Wilkie Whaley and local club DJ's. Location: Herndon, VA  For more info see: http://www.nvshag.org/
